Everybody Counts and Lending Library

The Wood County Society is honored to collaborate with the Parent/Educator Resource Training Center of Wood County in providing training, information, resources and a lending library along with the Everybody Counts Program, which reaches over 900 youth annually!

The mission of the Parent/Educator Resource Training Center is to empower all families and educators through support, information, and training to work in partnership for each child’s educational success and social, physical, and emotional well-being.

The Parent/Educator Resource Training Center completes its mission by:

  • promoting a working relationship between parents, educators, and our community

  • providing training for parents and promoting an understanding of the special education process in our schools

  • obtaining information and consulting with parents to provide direction related to educational issues and community services

  • providing emotional support through parent-to-parent “sharing.”

  • offering training workshops to educators for building positive parent/school relationships

  • maintaining a lending library of current educational resources

To take advantage of these resources, please contact us! All resources are provided free of charge.
